පනාවිටිය අම්බලම-දඹදෙණිය- Panawitiya Wayside rest-Dambdeniya
Panavityiya Ambalama is an isolated travel destination situated in Dangolla, Dambadeniya and it's very famous for wood carvings. I know that you love to visit calm and quite travel destinations. If you are planing to visit Dambadeniya, you must not miss this place. Ambalama is a way side rest. Those places called Ambalama were constructed to get rest for pilgrims and travelers who mainly travel by carts or foot (in ancient Sri lanka). This place was constructed in 18th century. It is believed that the Panavitiya Ambalama is situated to the side of a footpath from Dambadeniya to Kurunegala and Yapahuwa. Many wood carvings that can be seen in Ambakke Dewalaya can also been seen in Panavitiya Ambalama.
